SubLive Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
In short: SubLive does not collect personal data. Speech recognition, translation, and your subtitles stay on your iPhone. We have no accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking. We only receive information if you email us.
This policy explains how AnyToAny Studio (“we”) handles information in the SubLive iOS app (“SubLive”) and on this website.
1. What SubLive processes on your device
- Video and audio. SubLive reads the audio of videos you choose and converts it to text using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is not sent to us or to any server.
- Subtitles and translations. Subtitles are translated with Apple's on-device Translation framework. Results are saved on your device so you do not have to process the same video twice.
- Settings and playback. Your language choices, subtitle style, and playback positions are saved on your device.
All of this data stays in SubLive's storage on your iPhone. Deleting a video in the app or deleting the app removes it. Depending on your iOS settings, it may be included in your own device backups.
2. Permissions

You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
3. Network connections
- Video links. If you paste or share a video link (for example, a Google Drive link), SubLive downloads the video directly from that server to your device. That server receives standard request information, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy. We do not receive it.
- Language models. When you enable a new recognition or translation language, iOS downloads the model from Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to that download.
SubLive does not otherwise connect to the internet. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
4. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you.
- Retention: We delete support emails within one year after your inquiry is resolved, unless a law requires us to keep them longer.
- Service providers: Our email is forwarded by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) and stored in Google Gmail by Google LLC (USA). They process messages only to deliver and store them.
- Sharing: We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
5. This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. It remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visitor IP addresses for security purposes, and loads fonts from the jsDelivr CDN.
6. Children
SubLive does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 14.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop processing any information we hold about you by emailing hello@anytoanystudio.com. We will respond without undue delay.
8. Future features
If we add features that send data to a cloud service, they will be optional, clearly labeled, and off by default. We will update this policy before such features are released.
9. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above.
